With a deep desire to see my creations move, I design them to be manipulated. For me, reality is synonymous with movement, so the imaginary world that I transpose into reality takes on its full meaning when it moves. Through experimental videos and the use of stop motion, I invent fictional worlds in which I explore more intensely the relationship between the dead and the living. Starting with the space of the maquette to experiment with movement, I found it interesting to intervene with my hands on the miniature to manipulate it between each shot. From there came the desire to involve my whole body, moving from the maquette size to scale 1. I confront the body of flesh with the body of the puppet, making the inert and the living coexist in the same dimension. This play of doubles sharpens the boundary between simulacra and reality, creating a cognitive dissonance when the differences between the two bodies are revealed.
